Blind Date

These three Charming Chaps are waiting for a round up from our Graham. A sub for Ammo Magazine. Also, big news, I'm bringing Curios exhibition to Leeds for one night only. Culture Vulture asked if i could fill a room with some of my treasures for the Holey Moley night of fun and games. Pop down to Temple Works, Holbeck 22/10/09 8 pm and keep me company, RSVP here.

Holey Moley

Holey Moley! A while back Culture Vulture sent out 80 moleskines with various themes to different artists, i received one back in September. Thursday 22 October is when these little beauties are being unveiled by Culture Vulture and their having a party to celebrate. It's at Temple Mill in Holbeck Leeds if your up for it - just visit here to RSVP. There's a raffle on the night as well where you can win wonderful prizes from various artists who took part in the project, I've donated a shoebox of goodies and Feral will be on sale at the party too.

Feral Magazine is here!

Feral is a little creation between myself and mystery man Daniel Lancaster, it is simply a full colour, 44 page magazine full of wonderful relatively unknown artists. We bravely decided to have no text in the magazine so we could get more creativity for your money, you can go on the blog here to read features on all the artists and you can also buy a copy here. This is one of the spreads i have in the magazine, a cheeky illustration of the famous magpie rhyme.

Tubelord

Tubelord have released a single called propeller, to run alongside this release they asked various illustrators (including little ole me) to decorate some 7" record sleeves to go up in an exhibition. They will be exhibited at A Nation of Shopkeepers next Sunday from 4pm til late so pop down and have a ganders. Pics of my sleeves will be up shortly.

A Cheap Affair

I'm running a stall at Cheap Zine's Cheap Affair on the 26 September, Islington Mill, Salford If anyone fancies having a ganders at my wares. I will have Prints, Cards, Pocket Mirrors, Badges, Ceramics, Monster Softies and a new Baby range on sale. I will also be custom drawing badges and the amazing Jess from Sweet Feet will be custom drawing pumps for anyone wanting something a little different.

Manga Workshops

I also work as an Arts Facilitator running children's workshops, heres my poster for a manga workshop i'm running over the school summer holidays. The workshop covers an introduction to Manga and comics working with the children to make their own screen printed limited edition comic book.

The beginning of my Wish You Were Here Series. Boy highlights, sunburn, Dollar Sign chain, Socks and sandals, bad tattoo Croydon face-lift hair do, anklet. Individually, they don't make you a Chav, but put them ALL together ......yep, i know it's me n' Dan.....

I was asked a few weeks ago by the 405 to do some illustrations every now and again for their website, this is my first one so i hope it's good enough. I'll let you know if it goes up on the website.

Spring Clean

I am doing some Spring cleaning (on my computer) and thought I would start putting my Let's Go Riding illustrations into digital and experiment with the colours a little bit - i'm really into pastels at the moment. Here's Come to Momma and Get Your Coat
