I've been a busy bee today creating some summer inspired doodles for my new exhibition at Cherished, here's a little peek at what I've been doing

Chavtastic

The beginning of my Wish You Were Here Series. Boy highlights, sunburn, Dollar Sign chain, Socks and sandals, bad tattoo Croydon face-lift hair do, anklet. Individually, they don't make you a Chav, but put them ALL together ......yep, i know it's me n' Dan.....

Aquarius Records

I was asked a few weeks ago by the 405 to do some illustrations every now and again for their website, this is my first one so i hope it's good enough. I'll let you know if it goes up on the website.

Spring Clean

I am doing some Spring cleaning (on my computer) and thought I would start putting my Let's Go Riding illustrations into digital and experiment with the colours a little bit - i'm really into pastels at the moment. Here's Come to Momma and Get Your Coat

If only it was sunny, Im so bored of all the rain! although, the Sumo does look like he loves ice-cream a little too much....

Summer Comes Early

Some pictures of my illustrations for Feral at the Urban Outfitters 'Summer Comes Early' exhibition, they are up until the end of May so go down and have a peek, you will also get to see some of Liam Henry's photos (to the right of mine) - he is super talented and Leeds based too.

Cultural Olympiad Event

I'm doing a 3 day school workshop to promote the Olympic Cultural Event in Mirfield 25.07.09. This Involves working with 60 kids helping them to come up with posters for the event, and then screen printing the text over their designs. I'm so excited, this is an example poster to show the kids, i have different 'type' designs for them to choose from but here are a couple of the illustrations i did to help the get started. I'll keep you posted.

Cherished

Exciting news, my next exhibition is to be held in the upper gallery at Cherished, Otley on the 8th August to 9th September......I'll let you know more closer to the tme.

Home Sweet Home

Hiya, i'm back!!! Had an amazing time, saw so much i couldn't possibly list it all but here are a few of the highlights: Eifel Tower at night, Pompidu Centre, Andy Warhol and David La Chapelle expos, Moulin Rouge and a canal trip (oh and an awsome random night out in the Marais)

I have a new exhibition to get working on, it's called 'Fine & Dandy' and is based on seaside fun, it'll be opening in early August. I'll keep you posted on its progress closer to the time. This is two Brits sharing a tender moment slurping shakes in a cafe, its a working progress, let me know what you think?
